Now that the Russo Brothers are done with Captain America: Civil War, they’re turning their attention to an even bigger task, the third and fourth Avengers movies. For a long time they’ve been called Avengers: Infinity War Parts 1 and 2 but now we know that’s no longer the case.
A few weeks ago, Anthony Russo told us that, “The movies are very very different from one another. It’s not a part one and part two scenario, necessarily. They’re just two different expressions.” Now, Joe Russo told Uproxx that “The intention is we will change [the titles], we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.”
So let’s help them out! Below, tell us what you think these two new Avengers movies should be called. But keep this in mind: Thanos is going to play a huge part in these movies, especially since he hasn’t done much yet. So the prevailing rumor is the first movie will be about Thanos acquiring the Infinity Stones and becoming a major threat, then part two will be the big battle.
To that end, I’ll start: My guesses (hat tip to Rob Keyes) are Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet and Avengers: Infinity War.
