Game of Thrones

HBO executive Michael Lombardo explains the show's long-term outlook:

"I don't know where the show will end, as opposed to the books. It would be fantastic to be able to say this show will go on for 10 years, and do every aspect of the books. I don't know that will be the case. We'll see, but we are doing this without any predetermined idea of the number of seasons.

Alan Ball answers some questions about the rest of the season:

What will we see in the war between witches and vampires?
It will go places that surprise you. It's not linear.

Because Jason (Ryan Kwanten) drank Jessica's (Deborah Ann Woll) blood, will his sex dreams continue?
He's had her blood and he's already a very sexual person, but he's going to be attracted to her.

What is the season building up to?
The fate of vampires as a whole.

American Gods

HBO heads Michael Lombardo and Richard Plepler clarify what's going on with the adaptation of Neil Gaiman's book series:

Are you committed to the development of American Gods, with the talk of it being picked up for six seasons?
Plepler: No, no, no, no, no.
Lombardo: It's very early development. It hasn't gotten to the place to even talk about that yet.
Plepler: What happens is that things like that get announced as development projects, and then somebody writes about it, as if there's a 10-year commitment, and we haven't even seen a script yet. That happens frequently. It's in early development.

Chuck

The Matrix's Carrie-Anne Moss is reportedly set to appear in multiple episodes as Gertrude Verbanski, "a former spy who now runs Verbanski Corp, the chief rival of Chuck's new spy company. She's ruthless and deadly, yet she also has a weak spot for one John Casey - her old rival." This might well be the Casey love interest that was mooted at Comic-Con. [EW]

Once Upon a Time

Alias and The Vampire Diaries villain David Anders has been cast as a doctor who goes on a date with Ginnifer Goodwin's Mary Margaret/Snow White, and it's possible he will do so with villainous intentions of some sort. The character will first appear in episode three. [TV Guide]

Supernatural

Executive producer Ben Edlund reveals that he's writing the second episode, it's called "Hello, Cruel World", and it along with the season premiere are a direct continuation of what happened in the previous season:

And, you know, I considered the end of season 6 into season 7 to be one of our most fluid... It really is, like, the show that just keeps going, you know, so at the end of season 6 obviously you have the angry, deranged god. Big problem. So the first and second episodes, there's a lot of continuity going there that we just want to be first-the-best with, you know? [Episode] 2 ... unfolds the creatures ... the nightmare that they'll have to deal with this season.
