Illustration for article titled Wii Magic Stick Cover Ditches D-Pad For Analog Stick

If you can't wait 'til spring, and you want to give your Wii-playing thumbs a rest with an analog stick, slide the $7 Magic Stick cover on your Wiimote. It ain't pretty but it'll do the trick. [Brando via Technabob]

Putting a joystick on top of a D-pad does not turn it into an analogue stick. It's still digital, and will probably feel worse for it. I bought a similar thing for my Gameboy years ago, and it was rubbish.
