For the third installment in the insanely profitable Men in Black franchise, director Barry Sonnenfeld is getting the band back together — and shooting it in 3D.
Sonnenfeld has confirmed to Showbiz 411 that both Smith and Jones are on board for another government spooks vs. aliens roundelay, and that Sony will release the Etan Cohen-written film in 3D.
Now, we’ve already gone on record with our feelings about studios and their mercenary tendencies towards 3D, but MIB3D could be cool. Sonnenfeld does love his toys.
