You don't actually need anything that Thinkgeek sells. But it's really easy to feel like there's a novelty-size hole in your life that can only be filled by Thinkgeek swag. Stuff like this impossibly clever Lightsaber Popsicle Maker, or the iCade cabinet that turns your iPad into an arcade machine, that's the kind of gadget you see and you've just got to have it. Thinkgeek stuff is objectively cool, and it also makes for really memorable, excellent gifts.

Today's a great day to stock up on stocking stuffers and other nerdtastic gifts for your geeky friends. Thinkgeek's doing a store-wide promotion where you can take 25% off your entire order if you spend over $100. If you're not a high roller, you can save 10% on $50 and 15% on $75, but putting in one big order for presents now is your best bet to save money.

This isn't the first year that all my friends and family will be getting geeky gifts from ThinkGeek, but it will be the year first year I save money on stuff I was getting them anyway. [Thinkgeek]

So i noticed that when i clicked on the Gizmodo link for a ThinkGeek product for a brief second it starts to load a site www.qksrv.net then quickly goes to the ThinkGeek product page...hum thats weird i thought...lets go to www.qksrv.net see what its about. Well look what we have here. a redirect to a company that is affiliated with ValueClick...a click for commission site. Well well well, i always thought the "Deals of the Day" were bullshit, bullshit meaning you were never looking out for us, but rather selling your viewers clicks to the highest bidder. I know the response is "Well whats the big deal" the big deal is this site portrays a supposed "unbiased" information blog, but looks like to me that they have the potential to just review shit good that they get paid for....classic Giz
