If you’ve yet to join the new age of consoles, which is fair enough, but you do want to, then today could be a good chance to do so. It’s no secret that the latest run of consoles are all powerhouses, with even the lower-end ones being an impressive leap over the last-gen offerings. They are, however, very expensive, and only getting more expensive as time goes on because of everything going on.
If you want to jump into it then, your best bet might be today’s deal, because it’s on the Xbox Series S. The Xbox Series S would normally cost you $400, and while that’s pretty reasonable you can get it right now on Amazon with $20 off, which is a nice little discount in months. It’s not the biggest discount, sure, but it’s as good a reason as any to finally treat yourself to a new console.
Game On
The Xbox Series S is the cheapest of the modern consoles, and it means that it’s also the least powerful. However, Microsoft insists that games have to run on it when released, which means that you’re still getting a massive library of games to choose from, with plenty of ones from older generations to access as well. If you owned an Xbox 360, it’s very likely that you’ll already own games you can play on this, but now with faster loading times, quick resume to hop back in in an instant, and just a nicer feel overall.
Of course, one of the big draws here is having a machine to play Game Pass on too. Game Pass remains one of the best things about the Xbox family of consoles, and while it’s not as good value for money as it used to be thanks to a mix of game removals and price hikes, it’s still a good way to get a lot of games without having to shell out for all of them. It’s a cost-effective way to keep up with gaming, and is a great reason to pick up the Xbox Series S.
We don’t know how long this discount will last for, but we’re not expecting it to be long. If you do want to add this to your gaming collection while it’s down to $380, then we recommend being as fast as possible, or you could end up missing out on it entirely, and we don’t want that to happen to you.
