You maybe have noticed it’s “Geek Week” on YouTube. Sure, that means plenty of cool videos and whatnot, but there’s also something even better: Missile Command!

All you’ve got to do is go to a YouTube videoany YouTube video—and type “1980.” (Not in the search bar. Just like, type it.) Then, whammo, it’s time to save the world from a deadly threat, for great justice. But if you fail, your YouTube video will stop. The stakes have never been higher! OK so maybe not really but who cares! Missile Command!

So hop on over and start blasting those pixelated suckers out of the digital sky; the world ain’t gonna save itself.

Update: Also, typing “1337” changes all the comments to 133+5p34|< and it's up for grabs as to whether that makes them better or worse! https://gizmodo.com/type-1337-for-another-easter-egg-im-not-going-to-tell-1067963399 Thanks Matt!
