We've got plenty of clocks around our home, but none of them are as minimal or as stylish as this Icon Clock. Each clock comes in all of one shade (but there are many colors to choose from) and feature two tongue depressor-ish hands. That's it. Pick the color that matches your motif and decorate away. Here's a secret to interior design from us. Let someone (not you) who doesn't think adding an iPod dock to a room will improve the ambiance. [GNR8 via Better Living Through Design via DVICE]

I call dibs on the blue one!
Along time ago in Design School, which I never attended, I heard that the best analogy of form vs function is the difference between a digital clock (pure function) and an analog clock with no numbers (pure form).
These clocks would seem to be pure form, and in their zen-like simplicity are absolutely gorgeous. With that all being said, what the hell are those other watches on about?
Also Giz, can I suggest a name change?
"Clockmodo - So much in love with chronography, chronomorphology and time, it's unnatural."
- Love your work.
@Maxwells_Nylon_Hammer: I really like that analogy; it pretty much crystallized for me that I really do care more about form than function. Can't run away from it any longer.

I'm not sure what everyone else is on about, but I don't think the design is anything special. Sure, it's simple - to the point that it looks cheap and unsophisticated, like a generic IKEA one-million-off (right down to the "inoffensive" color palette). Any George Nelson Vitra clock pulls off "simple" with inifinitely more aesthetic finesse than this thing.
These are not clocks... they're enlarged ectasy pills. I have a craving for some orange juice.
i want to change my name to "gizmodo dot com" - will i get sued? ;) hahahahaha
Ooooooh someone took the peace sign ripped off a leg and turned it upside down! Take that, hippies!!
I thought $55 really wasn't bad for a design-y wall clock, but it's smaller than you'd think - three and a half inches across. Erm, no thanks. I'm normally a big fan of design objects, especially unique clocks, but in this case, I'll keep my generic IKEA one-million-off.
What kind of junk are you trying to push on us?
What about that blue one...
Only works with IKEA-minimalist motif. This would be great if I had a set of glass dishes with tiny bubbles and imperfections, proof they were crafted by the honest, simple, hard-working indigenous peoples of wherever. However, I'm more the sort of person who sees a table in the shape of a yin-yang and does NOT have to have it.
3 1/2" diameter? Can you attach a watchband? I, too, will stick to my Ikea million-and-one off.
