Paying for baggage, snacks, and other myriad things that used to be free is the best part of flying now. You really feel like you’re giving back to the system, after years of selfishly flying for less. Good for us.
All our hard work is paying off! The hapless airlines pulled in a hot $21.5 billion in non-flying fees last year, accounting for a majority of revenue for some smaller carriers. And with oil prices increasing, getting pummeled by annoying feels will probably continue to chap our hides, like so many uncomfortable, peanut shell-riddled coach seats. [via The Atlantic]
