Android 3.2 Will Bring Real Honeycomb Goodness to 7-inch Tablets

Huawei has just launched their brand new 7-inch MediaPad, and it's running the new Android 3.2. It won't be the only one; the new Honeycomb will bring on real Android amenities to a whole range of tablets jonesing for some love.

Huawei's tablet, which you can expect in the coming weeks, comes with a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm dual-core processor, a 217 pixels-per-inch IPS touchscreen, front and rear-facing cameras for those sweet Skype sessions, and 8GB of internal storage. 3.2 will take advantage of both the processor and the screen size in a way Honeycomb wasn't originally able to, bringing it closer to perhaps being a tablet meant for humans. The same could be said for the other slates like the HTC Flyer, although that depends on how quickly HTC can port it.

Available tablets will have to wait a few weeks for the new release. The question now becomes: What does this mean for Ice Cream Sandwich? [Engadget, This Is My Next]
