When there’s a photo shoot that involves mud, you can do one of two things. You can say no and miss an opportunity to capture some crazy shots or you can think creatively and cover your gear in plastic wrap.
The plastic wrap idea was not mine but that of Reuters photographer Jo Yong-Hak. He covered the Boryeong Mud Festival in South Korea and lovingly wrapped all his gear in plastic wrap to keep the mud out and the images coming in.
