If you take your gaming seriously, a stock keyboard is never going to cut it. Right at the other end of the spectrum, however, is this thing: the Mad Catz Strike 7, which is perhaps the most insane gaming keyboard ever made.
Designed specifically for hardcore gamers, its modular layout lets you position its five constituent parts—including the main keyboard, function pads and wrist rests— just the way you like them. It even features its own touchscreen display, which lets you quickly reprogram its total of 24 function buttons on the fly, and can also be used to launch and control programs on the PC.
There are, of course, a host of other features: interchangeable WASD and cursor keys, backlighting capable of 16 million color variants(!), and largely metal construction to make it feel solid. All of this comes at a price, though: it can be yours if you stump up a cool $300. [Mad Katz]
