    Too bad I'm a miner, and I don't live anywhere near there. It's much different out here in the middle of the Sierras. Miners are allowed in bars, we just can't drink unless we've struck gold. (Yeehaw!!!) Not that that has stopped many people...

    so....

    i'm just going to throw this out there.

    i RSVP'd to go, and i plan on being there either late friday night or early saturday morning, depending on when i can get off work.

    right off though, i can tell that i won't be able to afford the room at northstar. i had a two month gap at my job, and i'm just now back, and paying my bills.


    if anyone else is also strapped for cash, i thought maybe a couple of us could share a room. i'm not sure how big the rooms are, but it shouldn't be a problem, since i'm bringing a down sleeping bag and would plan to sleep on the floor. if possible, this would be for saturday night.


    if no one wants a stranger in their room, i completely understand.

    the alternative is me sleeping in my car, which i am prepared to do if necessary, just thought i'd toss the idea out there first.
