This Prismiq Mini-Fi USB 2.0 wireless 802.11b/g adapter isn’t much to talk about, other than the fact that it is small and pretty darn cheap. I recently breathed life into an old laptop without WiFi and I wouldn’t mind paying just $40 for something like this. It’s also backward-compatible with all 802.11b and 802.11b+ wireless equipment, just in case, and supports 64-, 128- and 256-bit WEP encryption, as well as Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support. Of course, if you’re a Mac head you can forget it—the Mini-Fi only works with Windows 98 SE, 2000, ME and XP systems.
