Dell introduced a new MP3 player yesterday, but did it to The Sound Of Silence. The Dell DJ Ditty is about the size of a Bic lighter, holds 220 songs (at 64kbps), has an FM tuner and costs $99. Daring Fireball’s got a cheeky take on Dell’s lack of enthusiasm for the product. Although it can be found by searching the Dell site, there is nary a mention of the Ditty on the homepage—which makes this latest entry into the DJ line of players seem about as disposable as the lighter is resembles.
