Coming with Moana is a short called “Inner Workings,” which makes the battle between instinct and thoughtfulness literal by showing our internal organs having faces and very different agendas.
The trailer for “Inner Workings” makes it seem like a version of Inside Out but for physical action. Inside Out was about emotions and the subconscious. “Inner Workings” is literally a battle for control of your body. And, man, does the short make it seem like your heart and your mind never get along.
“Inner Workings” is showing before Moana, which opens today.
