A Tree Grows In Manga

Manga comics have long breathed life into complex worlds and absorbing characters. Now they're doing so for radish plants in artist Koshi Kawachi's collection of elegant Manga planters.

The collection of plant-growing comic books are installed at the Matsuzakaya department store in Nagoya, Japan. They're as beautiful a sight from afar as they are mystifying up close.

Could this work with any book? Sure. But something tells me seeing sprouts bloom out of Webster's College Dictionary isn't half as compelling as the green shoots of Ghost In the Shell. [Pink Tentacle via Walyou]
