Javier Grillo-Marxuach originally created The Middleman as a comic book before turning into a beloved television series — so when he launches another new comic, it’s best to jump in on the ground floor. This time around, Grillo-Marxuach is bringing us Ramiel: Wrath of God, about an angel with a crisis of conscience.

Ramiel is the most fearsome warrior in God’s army, and a valued soldier in the endless war between Heaven and Hell… until he starts feeling drawn to Earth, where he senses that people need him. But are his visions a real call to nobility, or merely a temptation to stray from the path?

We’ve got some preview pages from Ramiel below, for you to check out — the book comes out in April, but right about now is when you should be encouraging your local comics retailer to buy copies.
