Aaron Sorkin might be (totally is) the best screenwriter we have, and according to E! Online Sony Pictures has offered the Social Network Oscar-winner the job of writing the script for the Steve Jobs movie.
Sorkin told E! Online that he's "strongly considering" taking the project, and that his research right now consists of reading Walter Isaacson's biography, Steve Jobs.
Sorkin's obviously best known right now for being the guy who wrote The Social Network and now Moneyball, but he's also written some fantastic TV—like Sports Night and The West Wing—and has a fairly wonderful track record. He recently had a series picked up by HBO, though, so fingers crossed that this works out. Because face it: Mark Zuckerberg isn't cool. You know who's cool? Steve Jobs is cool. [E!
