Adobe’s latest version of Lightroom, the photo management and editing tool, was released as beta back in January. Now it’s been officially released as Lightroom 4, and brings with it a big drop in price; the full version now costs $149 instead of $299.

In terms of features, Lightroom 4 brings with it the option of assembling and ordering photo books directly from the software, location-based organization, baked-in Facebook and Flickr functionality, and new highlight and shadow editing features.

Existing Lightroom users can upgrade for $79, while a new license costs $149. [Adobe]
