Almost two-thirds of Americans think that we should be using drones to kill terrorists in foreign countries
The real issue is that the U.S has so easily convinced the public that drones are needed. I see quite a few people saying "well yeah, sending drones is better than sending our troops". Implying that they have already subconsciously or otherwise accepted the fact that we need to be perpetually at war with other countries we have no business being in. I'll conclude with a great quote from Gore Vidal - "The corporate grip on opinion in the U.S is one of the wonders of the world. No first world country has ever managed to eliminate so entirely from its media all objectivity - much less dissent".
