You probably already have a copy of the original Angry Birds hanging out on your Apple ID or Google Play account. Not only has the game become synonymous with mobile gaming, but when Apple released data back in 2012 it was the most downloaded paid iPhone app of all time. Now it's free. Yup, the most downloaded paid iPhone app of all time is now free for the first time ever.
Android users may be wondering if they're left out. No — although there's been a free ad-supported version on Google Play for some time, Amazon Appstore is offering the ad-free version for $0 as well.
Sure, Rovio has progressively added more in-app purchases over the four or so years that this game has been out. And there are new, sexier Angry Birds versions too, like Angry Birds Star Wars. So this may be Rovio's way to bring the original Angry Birds out to pasture, or it could be a temporary price cut. Still, if you download it — or tell a behind-the-times friend to pick it up — it won't matter if it goes up in price, because you'll already have it for free. Do it. It's the kind of game that should come stock with every touchscreen.

This Is Your I-Already-Have-Angry-Birds Deal of the Day

Roombas, those hardworking and often existentially sad robotic vacuum cleaners, are a great addition to any small house or apartment, because who actually likes vacuuming? The Roomba 650 is a great first Roomba — it's not the cheapest, but it has the most features for the price. It's Wirecutter's favorite robotic vacuum. Right now it's only $300 over on Amazon, and everywhere else — everywhere else — still has it for $400. Great deal.

Does Gizmodo have a review for the Roomba 650 ? I want one but I don't know enough about them to make a decision.
