Barry Allen Can’t Run From Despair In Ingmar Bergman’s The Flash Movie

I don’t know who would have the idea to combine beloved DC Comics super-speedster The Flash with the cinematic stylings of acclaimed but morose Swedish director Ingmar Bergman, yet alone decide to act on that idea and film it, but I’m ever so glad they did.

Even if The Flash TV series is a bust — which doesn’t seem that likely — this is a pretty decent consolation prize. Plus, now I get to go around complaining that even Ingmar Bergman managed to make a Flash movie before Warner Bros. did, and he died back in 2007.
