If you’re as hooked on your Crackberry as most people I know, you better put your hands together and start praying that the products next day in court won’t end in the shutdown of its US service. Looks like our new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts, has refused a request by RIM to suspend an injunction in the now well-known patent dispute with software firm NTP. Basically, this means that the case will go back to a lower court, without any delays, and it will then be decided if and when sales must be halted. The higher court still has the option to review the case, but there’s no decision on that yet.
