This is something nobody was expecting. Some older titles on Blu-ray are actually decently priced. On Amazon, the 23 year old Terminator is only $11.99, and the Knight’s Tale, Hitch, 50 First Dates are all $19.99. The others like Fifth Element and House of Flying Daggers are $24.99.
Not too bad, since estimates were that new movies were going to be $39 and older ones $29. Let’s hope this isn’t a one time thing by Amazon and they’ll keep prices around this level.
