OSNk has built an “official” retail version of the bottle cap tripod we posted about a few weeks ago. This tripod fits on almost any 20 ounce bottle and pops off when not needed. It can also attach to flat surfaces like “binders” and “books.” Don’t stick your DSLR on there, but otherwise you’re golden.
