The short film Coin punches all other video game mashups in the face and then ends them with a finishing move. A video game hero wants to recover his stolen coin, and has to prove himself master of tons of games to win it back.
Exit 73 Studios is behind this incredibly dense tribute to the great games. It’s fun to pick out the references, but even if you’re not familiar with the games in question, Coin is still perfectly enjoyable as a well-crafted, madcap action piece.
