It’s been nine long years, but Cat Vs. Dogs 2 is finally here. Bette Midler is an evil kitty, Chris O’Donnell plays a human named Shame, or Shane. Oh Chris, “I can haz a nu Career?”
Technically the title is Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, but that’s really long, and it’s pretty much Cat Vs. Dogs 2 in any case. Also Pussy=Kitty, apparently. The big twist in the sequel is Cats and Dogs have to work together. The rest is probably inspired by Hamlet.
Say what you will, haters — there’s a cat in a puppy suit and a kitty in a bunny suit TWO TIMES. Also “cat nip is pot for kitties” jokes, baby kitties with baby kitty voices, and animals wielding guns. This film is going to make millions. And they’re getting at least some of my money — hello, kitty in a bunny suit. Also, Kenneth from 30 Rock is in it playing some sort of magic man… so, yeah, that’s odd. Ah well, at least it’s not Marmaduke.
