Cricket is a relatively small cellular service provider who hawk cheapish phones to customers without the hassle of contracts. Now they’re including a subscription-based music download service in their multimedia-centric plan, dubbed Muve. And it’s even backed by the major labels.

The four big distributors: Warner, Sony, Universal and EMI are on board for Cricket’s new music service, whose cost will be part of the $55/month plan, which also includes unlimited data and texts along with a set amount of minutes.
