Cellphone Sex Video Clears Man of Rape Charges

A businessman accused of raping a university student was cleared by cellphone footage shown in court of the woman ‘actively’ getting busy with him.

Before the mobile phone clip was screened, the judge warned the gallery, “You are going to see a clip which from what I have been told you may find extremely distasteful.”

After it was screened, the defense went for the zinger: “You and Mr Taylor were very familiar with each other and comfortable in each other’s presence.” The jurors voted to acquit the man, who’d been charged with four counts of rape, including two of rape by oral penetration.

What’s curious is that nothing is made of the fact that the woman—who denies she was actively performing a sex act on him—had never seen the clip before. [Daily Mail]
