This first teaser for the short movie called 2088 is pretty brief — but you may find yourself rewatching the scene of mechanistic rampage a few times, because it looks that cool. This film is directed by Steven Ilous from the VFX house SMI Entertainment, and you can kind of tell it’s the work of a VFX professional. The future cityscape looks really nice, and the robot gone berzerk is sweet as well. Witness a typical day on the beat, for the LAPD’s Non Human Division. [via First Showing]
