Custom Timbuk2 Messenger Bags Are Your Better-Than-Nothing Deal of the Day

Sometimes the deal world is plentiful, and sometimes there’s a lot of chaff. Among the discarded deals today: a 720p HDTV for $500, a non-sale on a great router, and a 10% price drop on a Razer scooter. But there is a little wheat—right now, Timbuk2 is offering 20% off their custom bags.

We’ve featured Timbuk2 sales in the past, but those were clearances of old stock. Read: ugly colors. The cool thing about this promotion is you can make your perfect bag. You can choose whether you want a subtle bag for blending in, or a loud bag that nobody would ever steal because it’s reflective pink. Sure, Timbuk2 bags aren’t cheap, but most people only buy a backpack once every few years, and now’s your chance to get exactly the bag you want. At 20% off. [Timbuk2]

This is the third time we’ve featured the Roku XS, so we’re fans of the little media streamer. It’s simply a fantastic way to stream media to your TV. It’s tiny, efficient, and supports most major streaming services, including Amazon, Time Warner Cable, and Plex. The XS can even play motion-controlled Angry Birds on your TV. It’s a great little gadget.

Although we’ve seen a refurb Roku 2 XS for $55 before, $65 is nothing to sneeze at, especially since a new one is still $95 at Amazon. New Rokus could be coming out soon, too. But if you want to watch Netflix on your TV now, this is a great deal to snatch up. [1 Sale a Day] Strangely, 1 Sale a Day went down 30 minutes before post. So it’s worth a click, but it might not take you anywhere.

Update: There’s a new Roku (announced tonight) and you can buy it now and it’s only $100, so I’d probably do that. [Roku]
