Daily Desired: The Concrete Clock That Is Taller than the Average American

No one can escape time—not you, not me, not nobody. Especially not when you’re staring it right in the face with this stately and sturdy concrete Swedish clock.

The Tidvis Grandfather Clock by Fosberg Form stands six-foot-four-inches (or one Jeff Goldblum) tall. That’s a lot of heavy concrete to drag into your house, but does make for quite the design statement. We’re all weighed down by the inescapable burden of time, aren’t we? Just don’t install this beautiful reminder of the world’s harsh reality in a house with toddlers—no sense in them knocking it over and clocking out at such an early age.
