Does It Really Take Drones To Get You To Adopt A Dog?

Tomorrow’s National Adopt A Shelter Dog Day. So, we’re here to remind you that there’s hundreds of thousands of new best friends just waiting on you to come save them. What are you waiting for, drones?

Yeah, this video from pro-dog propaganda blog 3 Million Dogs is silly, but it also drives home the point that 3.9 million dogs wind up in shelters every year, only about half of which ever get adopted. You’ve probably talked about getting a dog; why not act on that? It’s easier than you think and better than you could hope.

Get a shelter dog. This is Roxie. I adopted her when she was 18 months old, 12 months of which she had spent in a crate.

I’ve gotten 10 years and counting of unconditional love. You can too.
