Sawing off a cast is totes normal…if you’re a doctor. Sawing off a cast when you’re not a doctor? Not at all recommended. So why oh why, Lawrence Roberts, did you saw off your son’s cast? He’s missing fingers now!
Roberts, a 33-year-old man, used a 10-inch circular saw on his 15-year-old son’s arm cast. The authorities have no idea why Roberts wanted to saw it off but when he did, he sliced through his kid’s right thumb and almost cut off the middle of his son’s index finger. Roberts has been charged with aggravated child abuse. Don’t play doctor folks. [NBC Miami]
