Ergodex DX1

Reading time 1 minute

Tom’s Hardware has a review up of the Ergodex DX1, the bastard child of keyboard and graphics tablet. The keys themselves can be moved around on the surface of the “platform” and reprogrammed — a perfect combination for the uncomfortable gamer. One thing I was unable to determine was exactly how you push the keys; as someone who lets my hands rest on my keyboard while gaming, I think it would be a pain to have to change my style. And since these things are on a platform, can you even “push” them? We’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, though, and assume I’m just missing something.

Update: I did miss something. John pointed out that the third picture in the second page of the review clearly depicts how the keys work — they depress into themselves. Go unobservant me!
