Everyone's the Grillmaster At this BBQ Picnic Table

There's a certain pride that comes with donning the apron and tongs to handle grilling duties at a barbecue. Making sure everyone's steak is cooked exactly how they like is a lot of responsibility, though, which is why the JAG Grill table—that lets every dinner guest grill their own meat—is such a wonderful idea.

Located in the middle of the dining table is a central firepit capable of holding large burning logs to keep coals or briquettes under the eight individual grills surrounding it piping hot.

The wooden tables can be removed, for those times when you feel a little more traditional and want to stand around the grill. And access doors on the side make the firepit a little more accessible for easy cleaning.

At $2,500 for a pre-order (or $3,000 once it's officially available) the JAG Grill certainly isn't the cheapest way to celebrate the Fourth of July. But when everyone's responsible for their own grilling, no one will be able to complain when something is overdone. [JAG Grill via Bless This Stuff]

1. hope you don't want to keep your drink cold. and don't plan on drinking out of a solo cup or anything else that melts. or aluminum for that matter.

2. that would take at least 3 entire bags of charcoal to fill. not that anyone spending 2500 bones on a grill would care about that. its just a lot and can be difficult to manage when hot.

3. cleaning… hahaha. wow. hope you have a maid.

4. without any oxygen control, or a damper of some sort, that thing will run super hot. no one will be able to sit down unless there is a heat shield underneath.

5. not having a cover will severely limit the control you have over certain types of food, requiring constant attention.

really cool idea… i just question how realistic this is.
