Wires, wires and more wires. Look behind your desk and I'm sure that's what you'll see. Mounds of them even. So if you've got modular furniture (like a cubicle, let's say) you'll be pleased to hear about the Connectrac system, a floor raceway system designed by architect Clint Strong. It's really an alternative to other nasty ways of electric connectivity like power poles, and my personal favorite, poke-throughs. Basically, you won't have any structural holes or layout limitations with Connectrac because it's a shallow track that will cause only a gradual rise in the floor. Still trippable of course, but not as ugly. Comes in 10 different finish options.
