AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead might not be premiering until August 23rd, but the channel has confirmed that they will be picking the show up for a second, 15 episode season, which is expected to premiere in 2016.
The show will explore the zombie apocalypse that began in The Walking Dead “through the lens of a fractured family.”
Hopefully, the production of this spinoff show will avoid the drama that it’s predecessor faced when it went to a second season. In 2011, the show underwent a major production staff shakeup.
