In a move totally opposite from Sony’s ad campaign, Nintendo makes an TV spot that’s both memorable, informative, and pretty cool. The ad does a good job of showing off what the Wii can do, even if it just boils down to being able to swing a sword around on screen (for the two games they showed off).

In other interesting Sony news, we overheard this over the weekend—hey, bloggers go out sometimes!—that Sony’s ad agency was really unsatisfied with their PS3 ads. Whenever something goes wrong, the higher ups threaten people with visits from the PS3 baby. Harsh, yet fair, we’d say.
