Um, I’m not sure you should really take this advice, but it looks like a survey conducted by Consumers Electronics Association (CEA) Market Research declared Hitachi’s Microdrive 3K6 one-inch hard drive the winner in the Digital Imaging category for “girl’s best friend.” Of course, the survey was cleverly entitled “What Women Want,” and sampled more than 1,600 adults (men and women) to determine the features and functions women prefer in their consumer electronic devices. But I’m still a little flabbergasted at this result. Now, I could get into all kinds of jokes about a one-inch piece of equipment, but I’m going to refrain, given that it’s the holidays and all. So come on guys, get out there and get your best girl a microdrive already, would you?
