Never Too Early Movie Predictions takes its Oscar predictions very seriously, calling the nominees and winners of not just this year’s Oscars, but the Oscars through 2017. The short version: expect James Cameron to pick up a few statuettes for Battle Angel Alita.

Like all good futurists, NTEMP knows that its predictions aren’t likely to be 100 percent correct, but it’s still fun to peer into the future. Here are a few of the site’s predictions to take home the gold:

The site goes into a great deal more detail, predicting the non-winning nominees as well as categories like Best Makeup, Best Costumes, and Best Sound Mixing. Of course, there’s always a good chance that a dark horse or five could come in and spoil the predictions. We’ll just have to check back in 2017 and see how these predictions panned out.

Of course, if these predictions do pan out, it says something about the sorry state of awards that we can predict the winners before the movies even start filming.
