Gizmodo—a tech, science, and pop culture news site founded in 2002—is hiring a senior reporter to join our NYC-based newsroom. We were recently acquired by the European media company Keleops; it’s a new chapter for Gizmodo, and we’re eager to grow the editorial team.

We’re looking for a reporter who can cover daily news on a few technology beats, as well as pursue more ambitious scoops and features. The ideal candidate should have a strong writing voice and be able to think creatively about how to cover the tech industry and the ways technology affects our lives. Candidates should have at least two years of newsroom experience; you should have a solid roster of sources and a passion for a particular area of tech coverage.

This is a position covered under the collective bargaining agreement with the WGA-E. The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $90,000. To apply for this role, please send a resume, cover letter, and links to your work to [email protected]
