Check out the latest trailer for ParaNorman, a new stop-motion film from the brilliant minds at Laika (the folks behind Coraline). We kind of love the idea of a little kid who can see dead people whose mental psyche hasn't been horrible scarred.

In a nutshell, zombie-obsessed Norman (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee) can see and speak to the dead, including his grandmother (who makes an appearance in this trailer). But when an ancient curse awakens a pack of pissed-off zombies, it's up to ghost whisperer Norman to rally his Goonies-esque band of misfits. Look for ParaNorman in theaters on August 17, 2012.
