This purports to be a bit of concept art of the villain for Episode VII. It was released by Star Wars Underworld, and confirmed by Indie Revolver, who says that it's made it past the concept art stage and that the character and his "lightbroadsword" have already filmed some scenes. Making Star Wars also confirmed the art's authenticity, adding that this was "the cyborg" and the look is his battle armor, with the mask covering his deformities. [Star Wars Underworld]

Marvel/Avengers Age of Ultron

IGN has a couple of interviews up, one with Mark Ruffalo and one with Robert Downey Jr. Ruffalo played coy about Banner's "closer" relationship with Black Widow, saying:

Did you tell them that? Okay, I'll play. I'll play along. Yeah, yeah. There's a really important relationship between…[Laughs] I was just happy that I was in the movie at all! And any scenes that I got to be with her were...a big bonus.

He added that there was a detente of sorts between Banner and the Hulk, but that they were headed to a confrontation between the two. As for the Science Bros, he also talked the status of their friendship:

Basically, Tony took the orphan Banner into the fold. I was just made aware of where my apartment was in the Stark Complex...the Stark Tower. And so, you know, I think they're working together. I have a Lab and Banner's working on a lot of stuff. And Tony's working on his own stuff and they complement each other. And so you could tell that when we get into this film that they've been working together. And they've gotten even more of a short hand together. So that's been built out quite a lot and it's fun. It's cool.

In the same vein, the fight between the Hulkbuster and the Hulk is "'You think you could beat me, and then I'll beat the crap out of you, and then I beat the crap out of him.' [Laughs] It's kinda' like that, but not totally like that. It has a surprise. A little twist to it as well." He added that the Scarlet Witch will bring out the worst in all of them and that it's a "bad trip." [ IGN]

Downey talked about Tony Stark's role as the creator of Ultron and the Vision:

it's not really that. It's more...I always read this as the concept that every impulse starts off as a positive impulse, you know? Even the impulse to kill starts off as an impulse to change, to rail against, to challenge the authority in a very direct and permanent solution to a temporary problem. And I think because Tony's solution is what becomes the problem in a way that's really kind of interesting. And it also ties into The Vision. I don't think you can call James Spader [who plays Ultron] a bad guy. But he's scary and kind of hurt. So to me there was a Rubik's Cube to how not to make these things happen. When you get to Act Three, you're just going 'I really hope you like Acts One and Two, because now we're just gonna do all this stuff!' I think it was the same thing in Iron Man 3, Act Three was the strongest act. And I think that this film is really gunning for that sort of thing.

He also hinted about where this is going for Tony and how this could end with him edging away from direct involvement:

And now I feel like rather than Tony kind of like putting it all down, he was just kinda saying, 'Alright, job one is roughly taken care of.' And I think this is job two. Job two was to go back East and get people organized and do what I can. And also, I love that Tony's not one of those superheroes who's ever lost his money. [Laughs] Which is great. He's never lost his dough. I think what he's trying to do is kind of set up shop where eventually this can be...It's like eventually you just gotta hand this over to the vendors so they can finish the job. And I think that's kind of what Tony's thinking, you know?

In addition to the Phase 3 announcements, Marvel President Kevin Feige answered a bunch of questions. The video's below, but some highlights include Feige saying that Iron Man 4 is still a possibility "if there are more years after 2019"; we will see Black Panther, in costume, in Civil War; Mark Ruffalo is on board to play Bruce Banner and the Hulk in the movies leading up to the two-part Infinity; that there are seeds leading to Wakanda and the Inhumans starting before "you even know it"; and the Defenders might make it to the movies because "Infinity War is big." Batman v. Superman

Here's something that appears to have been both reported and then debunked, so take it all for what it's worth. Ben Affleck's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trainer, Rehan Jalali supposedly revealed some details about the character at one of his health classes — but later, his assistant contacted Batman News to deny that Jalali had discussed the film at his classes at all. So depending on whether you believe the initial report or the later denial, here's what he's supposed to have revealed:

  • Batman's armored Batsuit is covered in Kryptonite and shoots missiles
  • There's a scene showing a shirtless Bruce Wayne looking over a destroyed city
  • There are two Batmobiles

As he has done before, Zack Snyder called into a local Detroit radio station to give some updates on the filming of the next DC film. He said that they're about to wrap up filming in Michigan and thanked everyone for being so supportive. He also said that they're getting close to the end:

We head to Chicago after this, then a couple more locations but we're getting close, as they say. It's a long shoot.

... I feel like there's a really good chance we'll be back. We have a couple of established locations here that I think if we make another movie, I'm knocking on wood here, we would have to come back and shoot those. That would be fun.

He also updated his Aquaman rant a bit:

I think the last time I called, we talked a little bit about Aquaman, but it hadn't been announced that Jason Momoa was gonna play Aquaman. I was trying to protect you guys from his wrath. The man is a monster. The guy is awesome and he's so passionate. I was hanging out with him here in Detroit and he was loving on it so hard. He's a great guy, but like I say not a small individual.

Suicide Squad

Casting rumors for this film have taken off since it was announced, so add this name to the list: Cara Delevigne ( Anna Karenina). The 22-year-old Brit is supposedly being considered for a female villain role. So, one widely held assumption is that she'll be Harley Quinn. [Latino Review]

Keanu Reeves has signed to star in director Tanya Wexler's next film, which has a script by Chad St. John. Here's the synopsis:

After a car accident kills his loving family, a daring neuroscientist will stop at nothing to bring them back, even if it means pitting himself against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force, and the physical laws of science themselves. Production is slated for spring 2015.

As part of the announcement that the second Divergent film will be released in 3D, we also got a bunch of new motion posters. See the rest here. [Slashfilm]

Emily Bett Rickards previewed the upcoming Felicity-centric episode:

It's so weird! It's the weirdest thing. She's so special to me. She has a darker path than I ever wanted to really play with, because I think that makes me a little sad that she's gone through a few really terrible things. But it's interesting, because I can connect with her on that level to a certain extent as well. I don't know, she just really warms my heart.

IGN: I'm also curious about the dynamic between her and her mom, since we're going to be seeing this very key figure from her past show up.

Rickards: Ah, yes. That's a whole thing. They are completely different people, except for their ability to really, really care. She definitely has the maternal gene from her mother. Her mother really tries, and that effort doesn't go unnoticed.

According to John Barrowman, Malcolm Merlyn's has a surprising thing to say to Oliver, and it's not about fighting. He also says that Merlyn's concerned about Ra's al Ghul, but not "stupid" and is trying to protect himself and his loved ones. Stephen Amell says that the entrance of that character will blow us away:

"If you're a fan of comics, you're really going to enjoy the reveal of Ra's al Ghul — like, the first frames of seeing him," he says. "That's going to be pretty cool and create a lot of chatter."

Wentworth Miller says that he'll pop up as Captain Cold a few more times, depending on his availability. As for working with his former Prison Break co-star, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, he said:

Anyone tuning in to see the two of us onscreen at the same time will not be disappointed. We've got a lot of scenes together. I just wrapped my second episode — Dom's first — in Vancouver and it was a blast. And a blast from the past. Dom and I played brothers for four years, and we developed a bond that really does feel brotherly. It was a lot of fun to tap into that but also push into new creative territory. This isn't "Michael and Lincoln Take Two." But there are moments that did feel a little wink-wink-nudge-nudge. Let's just say it was a good time.

Writer Robbie Thompson previewed the return of Felicia Day's Charlie:

All I can really say is Charlie definitely comes back from Oz and she's brought back something that's pretty scary. She's going to have to confront it with the boys.

One of the great things about knowing you're working with Felicia is she, as an actor, really gave us permission to let her character grow. So we've always tried to tell a new chapter of Charlie's life when she appears. I always believe that every character is the hero of their own story and that' definitely true with Charlie. This episode is another chapter in her ongoing journey and continual growth as a character.

Star Matt Ryan said that comics fans should be very pleased with what they see:

We're starting where comic books kick off, we've got the whole canon in front of us, we're actually taking stories directly comics. My favorite story is "Dangerous Habits." It's badass, it'll take us a long time to get there but that's good a can grow before we get there. The pilot till now has been such a journey, but everything gets better…I feel like we are in a place where true fans of the comic will be happy. Lots of episodes will be lifted out of the comics with a few tweaks.

Agent Carter

Here's the official extended synopsis for the series:

Years before Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team swore to protect those who cannot protect themselves from threats they cannot conceive, there was Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell, Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger," Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"), who pledged the same oath but lived in a different time when women weren't recognized as being as smart or as tough as their male counterparts.

But no one should ever underestimate Peggy.

It's 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field; putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys. But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers – aka Captain America.

When old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger") finds himself being framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash, he contacts Peggy - the only person he can trust - to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name. He empowers his butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy, "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World"), to be at her beck and call when needed to help assist her as she investigates and tracks down those responsible for releasing these weapons of mass destruction. But Jarvis, who is a creature of habit and sticks to a rigid daily routine, is going to have to make some major life changes if he's going to be able to keep up with Peggy.

If caught going on these secret missions for Stark, Peggy could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison – or worse. And as she delves deeper into her investigation, she may find that those she works for are not who they seem, and she might even begin to question whether Stark is as innocent as he claims.

"Marvel's Agent Carter" stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray ("One Tree Hill," "A Cinderella Story") as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj ("Dollhouse") as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham ("American Hustle," "The Wolf of Wall Street") as Chief Roger Dooley.
