Seeing as The Walking Dead has been teasing the arrival of Negan, leader of the Saviors, for pretty much this entire season, I suppose it was too much to ask to get more than his silhouette or a close-up of his bat Lucille in the teaser trailer to the finale.
There’s nothing much to say about Negan—we only see his back—but I will say this: “We can make a deal”? Screw you, Rick. You literally murdered dozens of his people without provocation. I’m shocked the guy doesn’t say “We don’t negotiate… with terrorists.”
This is the problem with turning your protagonists into murderers—it gets very hard to feel bad for them when people try to murder them back.
