Dang, last week went by in a blur. I remember checking out the Games Festa in Osaka, where I saw underage gaming and rotten parenting. Meanwhile, Brian Crecente got his 360 before any of the Gawker crew. What did he discover? Paris Hilton may dig the Xbox, but the media’s backlash has already started.

Luke held down the fort and battled anyone and everyone in WiFi Mario Kart, kicking Crecente’s arse on a daily basis. Ronald McDonald helped usher in the new style of DS play, but by mid-week, Nintendo’s WiFi site crashed. Doing our part to help, we decided to hold a WiFi Mario Kart contest. Speaking of contest, we got the results for our Halloween Costume Contest (yes, it’s November, I know). The winner? Some kid dressed as Luigi. How’s that for a shocker.

By the end of the week, Kourosh hit the Spike TV 2005 Video Game and sat behind 50 Cent. The biggest surprise was Best Buy trying to sue the crap outta us with a team of lawyers unable to spell litigation, let alone get our name right. Well, we had the last laugh.
