Not only that, but you also get four HDMI 2.1 ports, making this an excellent TV for gaming or movies.

A gorgeous QLED 4K TV that brings your favorite content to life

On the picture side, Hi-QLED color is powered by quantum-dot technology, which produces over a billion shades for richer, more accurate color reproduction. Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10+ are both supported, so HDR content gets dynamic-range processing rather than falling back to SDR. The 144Hz panel keeps motion super smooth, which is great for sports lovers or gamers. If you’re into motion interpolation, Motion Rate 480 will boost frames on any content to max out the refresh rate. The OD5 also has 4K upscaling, which processes lower-resolution content using machine-learning-based image processing.

Native 144Hz refresh handles the gaming side, paired with Variable Refresh Rate spanning 48Hz to 144Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Auto Low Latency Mode for reduced input lag on connected consoles. An enhanced Game Bar overlays settings on the screen, letting you adjust display preferences without leaving the game. Connected consoles and PC gaming setups benefit from the higher refresh rate and VRR range on compatible games.

Google TV handles the operating system, with a launcher that learns your preferences and surfaces recommended content based on viewing history. Voice control works through Google Assistant on the remote or hands-free across compatible devices in the home. Apple AirPlay lets you cast from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, and HomeKit integration brings the TV into the Home app for routines. Bluetooth 5.3 supports wireless headphone connections for late-night viewing without disturbing others.

Built-in Dolby Atmos speakers handle audio, delivering spatial sound for movies and games. The speakers fill a room reasonably well, though a soundbar or surround system is the upgrade path for serious home theater setups. Direct-lit LED backlighting handles screen illumination, and an anti-glare coating reduces reflections in well-lit rooms. DTS Virtual:X processing also adds additional surround effects through the built-in speakers.

At 98 inches diagonal and roughly 120 pounds, this isn’t a casual upgrade or something that fits anywhere. The integrated handlebars on the back are there because two adults and a dolly are recommended for transporting it. With the sale dropping the price from $2,300 to $1,000, this isn’t a deal you’ll want to pass up..However, measuring twice and confirming the room can hold a screen this size is worth doing before clicking buy.
