iSuppli believes that HP's WebOS-powered Touchpad tablet has an estimated $318 worth of parts, with a manufacturing cost of $10. The 32GB 3G iPad 2, by comparison, had $325 worth of parts.

The majority of the costs in the $599 32GB model went to the display technology, which accounted for $134 worth of the total price. Other significant costs included those for RAM, CPU and battery. The $499 16GB model had $296 worth of parts (and a $10 manufacturing cost). Ultimately, HP is making roughly $193 and $271 off each 16GB and 32GB TouchPad sale, respectively. [iSuppli]
