A company in Malaysia seems to have borrowed a bit of the old iPod Nano 2G design in making their players. The knockoffs support MP3, WMA, MTV, AMV, voice recording, ebook reading, FM radio, photo viewing, and comes with 1 or 2GB of memory. Best of all, they're now only RM 200 ($54) and RM 290 ($79).
Much less expensive than Apple's offering, but somehow we doubt it's built to the same standards. Would make for a great gag gift though.

DISCUSSION
Looks even worse than the ipod nano clone that some dumb chinese make, looks exactally like a nano, comes in black and white, though they look like the 1G nano, but have more features like video playback (tiny screen) mp3, wma, ogg, other audio codecs, mp4 for video, e-book reading, voice recording, calendar phone numbers...the usual crap...nice interface too...the click wheel seems 100 percent same as apples, but not really touchable..it's more of a pushable clickwheel than a around the wheel navigation, you know, the old up down left right navigation? yeah....confusing speach? Yes...but anyways thats the second best ipod clone I have seen, more like the new ipod nano which is basically a ipod mini with a color lcd and newer stuff.
